What is "Stop the Clock" and how does it work?
"Stop the Clock" is our exclusive feature for hourly reservations that lets you pause the meter when you don't need the vehicle. After 2 hours into your reservation, you can pause for up to 4 hours for a flat fee of $200 (then $50/hour for additional time beyond 4 hours). This is perfect for private dinners, wedding ceremonies, corporate meetings, or any event where you don't want to pay for idle vehicle time. The pause must be pre-planned at booking time so we can staff and schedule accordingly. For example: Book a 6-hour reservation, use the vehicle for 3 hours, pause during a 2-hour dinner ($200), then resume service for your return trip — you only pay for 4 hours of active service + the $200 pause fee instead of the full 6 hours.
Do you price match competitors?
Nope! We've found that price matching often means service matching, and we're not willing to go there. Our vehicles are newer, our drivers are more experienced, and our dispatch actually answers the phone. Some things are worth paying for—like not ending up stranded at the airport because someone saved $20.
Is gratuity included or extra?
Gratuity is not included in our quoted rates but is appreciated for great service. Standard gratuity is 20-25% of the fare, with 20% as the minimum selection when booking online. You can also select a custom amount or tip your driver directly in cash.
